Aethercomm Part Number SSPA 2.496-2.700-400 is a high power, WiMAX Band, Solid State Power Amplifier that operates from 2.496 to 2.700 GHz. This unit delivers 40 watts of average power to the load with an ACPR of 42 dBc maximum. Typical small signal gain is 56 dB. Typical gain flatness is ±0.5 dB across the band. Noise Figure is 5.1 dB typical at 25ºC. Input VSWR is 2.0:1 maximum. Output VSWR is 2.0:1 maximum. This unit is equipped with Aethercomm's proprietary DC switching circuitry that enables and disables the DC-DC circuitry in 5000 nSec maximum. Standard features include reverse polarity protection, output short and open circuit protection, and an integrated DC-DC converter with over/under voltage protection. This power amplifier operates from a +36 Vdc power supply. The current at 40 Watts of average RF output power is 15 Amps typical. This amplifier operates from +20C to +40C base plate temperature for the data presented herein. The amplifier is capable of operation from -20C to +70C with slight degradation in ACPR levels.
