How to select an RF Adapter
RF adapters are used in a number of applications in rf systems.
Type: Adapters can be Between Series or In Series

Between Series: This is when the connector type on either side of the rf adapter is different. Like N Type to SMA or BNC to N Type.

In Series: This is when the connector types on either side of the adapter are the same.
Gender: There are various gender configurations that rf adapters can be found in - Male-Male, Female-Female, Male-Female or Female to male.
Geometry: RF Adapters can be straight or right angled.
Frequency (MHz): This is the frequency up to which the rf adapter can operate while maintaining its electrical characteristics.
