How to select a RF Limiter
RF Limiters are devices in which the output signal is limited from exceeding a specified value.The key parameters when selecting a RF Limiter are:
Type: There are two main types of rf limiters - Pin-Schottky Limiter & Pin-Pin Limiter
CW Input Power (dBm): This is the maximum CW input power the limiter that the limiter can handle.
Flat Leakage (dB): Flat leakage of a rf limiter is the CW output signal that leaks through when the device is under high input power conditions.
Insertion Loss (dB): The loss associated with the limiter is known as Insertion Loss.
