Vaunix to Display Latest Attenuators & Signal Generators at IMS 2017

Vaunix, a developer of innovative test & measurement products will be showcasing their latest attenuators and signal generators at IMS 2017. They will be in the 5G/IoT Pavilion at booth #848 from 6-8 June.

The products that they will be showcasing include, the new LDA-602Q - A 4 port programmable attenuator that operates from 200 MHz to 6 GHz, providing up to 120 dB of control range with a 0.1 dB step size. It is capable of bidirectional fixed attenuation and swept attenuation ramps. Each of the 4 RF ports are matched to 50 Ohms and have a VSWR less than 1.3:1. Fast switching speeds of 15 us can be expected. The LDA-602Q unit is compact unit, fitting into a single standard rack unit with well-spaced 50 Ohm SMA female connectors for each RF port. Additionally, the only power and control connection is from a standard USB type-B female. The price of this attenuator is $2,900.

The LDA-602EH is a single attenuator that operates from 200 MHz to 6 GHz with an attenuation range of 120 dB and a 0.1 dB step size, allowing for both precision and accuracy during fading tests or device characterization. This attenuator has an insertion loss of less than 9 dB at 6 GHz and can handle upt to 28 dBm of RF input power. It a fast 15 us switching speed. 4-port programmable devices are coming soon.

The LMS-183DX  is a compact, 6 to 18 GHz Signal Generator that offers up to 80 dB of power control range. This unit typically operates with a VSWR of 1:4:1 (2.0:1 maximum) and weighs less than one pound. Maximum harmonics are -25 dBc (-38 dBc typically) when the LMS-183DX is set to +10 dBm output power. This signal generator is controlled and powered through a USB port with advanced features such as phase-continuous linear frequency sweeping, internal/external 10 MHz reference, and optional pulse modulation.
