ADRF Showcases its Updated Public Safety Product Lines at IWCE 2018

Advanced RF Technologies (ADRF) has introduced new enhanced public safety connectivity equipment at the ongoing International Wireless Communications Expo. Major upgrades included software updates to the company’s FiRe product, a unique DAS head end and repeater combination built into one device that lowers total cost of ownership by as much as 40% compared to traditional DAS and Repeater models.

ADRF’s flagship public safety products, FiRe-78-4 and PSR-78-9533, now support up to 32 narrowband channels to meet requirements from local jurisdictions and AHJ standards throughout the United States. The ADRF engineering team specifically designed the new features to be compliant in states with more stringent requirements such as Washington DC, Florida and California.

As a result of the technology upgrades, FiRe-78-4 and PSR-78-9533 repeaters will not only provide public safety connectivity for a variety of indoor and outdoor uses, but will also be able to adapt to almost any state or region’s distinct requirements. Additionally, the enhanced products are durable and resilient, meeting NFPA and IP66 code standards, and are also IFC and NFPA 2016 compliant and FirstNet ready. The upgraded repeaters will be available for commercial use in spring 2018. ADRF will be exhibiting the new features at their booth during the IWCE 2018 event being held from March 5 – March 9.
