Accumet & Laser Services will Exhibit at IMS 2018

Leading provider of extremely tight tolerances and super fine finishes, Accumet, has announced its participation at the 2018 International Microwave Symposium. The event will be held from June 12 – June 14 in Philadelphia, PA. Representatives from Accumet will be speaking with attendees about the benefits of working with a Lapping and Polishing shop that stock their own materials. Laser Services, their sister company will also be exhibiting at this booth and will be happy to speak about any laser machining projects presented.

Accumet was founded in 1970 and is dedicated to providing extremely tight tolerances and super fine finishes. It has developed several unique cutting, lapping, and polishing techniques to achieve extremely tight tolerances with repeatability and consistency from piece to piece. The company offers a complete ultra-precision service for grinding, lapping, polishing, diamond sawing, and laser machining. As well as sizing a wide variety of metals (ferrous and non-ferrous), carbide, ceramic, sapphire and other materials for industrial and scientific applications, including telecommunications, semiconductors, communications, test and measurement, microelectronics, defense and security industries.

Laser Services is an ITAR registered laser cutting, drilling, scribing, etching, and welding shop located in Westford, Massachusetts, USA. It specializes in cutting ceramic materials and a variety of other PCB substrates. Its fully equipped 16,000 square foot facility features 25 low to high power lasers and a variety of other state-of-the art equipment and secondary processing tools.

IMS 2018 will draw more than 800 industry leaders, showcasing the latest developments in microwave devices and products, explaining the technology behind their devices and highlighting their applications. The event will provide technical programs, networking opportunities and social events, allowing attendees to interact with exhibitors and members of the industry.
