IWCE Critical LTE Communications Forum to Emphasize on Mission-Critical LTE Network Solutions

IWCE’s Critical LTE Communications Forum 2018 is set to be held in Chicago on November 6 & 7. It is a two-day conference that brings together critical communications professionals to understand the wide-range of uses of LTE communications networks. The event follows the record-breaking conference last November in Dallas, TX.

The Critical LTE Communications Forum is designed for government, public safety, critical infrastructure and enterprises as they prepare to transition from LMR to mission-critical LTE and state and local governments prepare for FirstNet and Smart Cities.

The conference will provide a deep understanding of LTE communications networks, devices and applications. Day one focuses on the building blocks of critical LTE, the differences between 4G and 5G, devices accessories and applications, cybersecurity, and the role of IoT and analytics. The day concludes with a panel on smart cities as well as a reception. Day two features discussions on mission-critical push-to-talk, network control, interoperability, measuring coverage as well as a look into the future.

The conference keynote presentations will be delivered by industry leaders including:

  • Steven K. Miller, Director, Verizon National Security and Public Safety, Verizon
  • Michelle Johnson, Director, LTE Advocacy and Business Development, Communications Systems, Harris Corporation
  • Reginald Jones, Director of Public Sector Sales and Solutions, Samsung Electronics America
