Cubic Mission Solutions to Participate at IWCE Critical LTE Communications Forum 2018

Integrated technology pioneer, Cubic Corporation’s Cubic Mission Solutions (CMS) business division will be participating at the upcoming IWCE Critical LTE Communications Forum in Chicago. To be held from November 6–7, the Forum is the only event in the industry dedicated to critical communications for government, public safety, critical infrastructure and enterprises as they prepare to transition from land mobile radio (LMR) to mission critical long-term evolution (LTE) and state and local governments prepare for FirstNet and Smart Cities.

Cubic Mission Solutions provides the only certified Radio over IP (RoIP) gateway with embedded 4G LTE operating on both AT&T and Verizon networks today. No matter the market verticals the company serves, this software-defined platform delivers powerful performance in a reduced size, weight and power (SWaP) form-factor, ensuring customers have a scalable LMR-to-LTE interoperability solution for years to come.

According to Mike Barney, Director of public safety programs at CMS, the interoperability of LTE and LMR is important as public safety networks evolve to meet the demands of mission critical applications. The company is thus looking forward to discuss the impacts of new broadband offerings on existing LMR and emergency communications systems.

Mike Barney along with CMS’ Senior director of commercial business development and strategy, Travis Queen, will participate in the following panels taking place at the event:

  • Tech Lightning Round: Wednesday, November 7; 11:30-12:15 p.m. Participant: Travis Queen, senior director of commercial business development and strategy, CMS Location: International Ballroom
  • Critical LTE's Interoperability with LMR and 911: Wednesday, November 7; 1:00-2:00 p.m. Panelist: Mike Barney, Director of public safety programs, CMS Location: International Ballroom
