Telrad CBRS Solution Receives OnGo Certification for Commercial Use

Telrad Networks has announced the OnGo Certification of their CBRS solution by the CBRS Alliance. Telrad is currently engaging with several customers to begin commercially ready deployments in the CBRS band. It has already performed several successful tests with customers with trial licenses, and is prepared for mass deployments, offering a standards-based LTE solution that helps operators meet subscriber demands for consistent and dependable wireless experiences.

Wireless and cable operators have been eagerly awaiting the FCC rules finalization of the Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) band, offering 150 MHz of spectrum between 3.55 and 3.7 GHz to be shared by service providers, and which, under the new FCC rules, will be allocated and managed by a Spectrum Access System (SAS). The OnGo certification establishes that the Telrad BreezeCOMPACT, meets a high set of industry standards for performance and interoperability. The product underwent rigorous testing at an OnGo Authorized Test Laboratory.

OnGo is uncompromised connectivity. It presents nearly limitless options for enhanced customizability and allows users to tailor networks to a specific set of needs, such as Private LTE, neutral host and Industrial IoT applications. OnGo Certified is a recognized seal of approval that indicates a product’s ability to meet a high set of quality, interoperability and security standards when tested by an independent, OnGo Certification Authorized Test Laboratory. The OnGo brand and the OnGo Certification Program are managed and maintained by the CBRS Alliance.
