The Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) is a regional navigation satellite system commissioned by the Japanese Government. The first satellite was launched in 2010. Three additional satellites will be launched by the end of 2017 and the QZSS solution will be operational in 2018.
The QZSS GNSS solution operates in the following frequency bands:
QZSS L5 Band: 1176.45 MHz with a 24 MHz bandwidth
QZSS L2C Band: 1227.6 MHz with an 11 MHz bandwidth
QZSS E6/LEX Band: 1278.75 MHz with an 20 MHz bandwidth
QZSS L1 Band: 1575.42 MHz with a 12 MHz bandwidth
