With the exception of misspellings, bilogical appears as an ad hoc term to describe antenna and antenna systems having the property of a large operating spectral bandwidth. Most often this reference is applied to single or multiple antennas which cover the spectral domain of 20MHz to 7GHz with the intended goal of performing EMC/EMI measurements over that domain.

The ad hoc construction could be derived from the contracted concatenation of biological and logical since microprocessor and microcontroller systems appear to be the primary target. It could also refer to the dichotomy between performing measurements at less than 1GHz and greater than 1GHz.      .
