The UWB-1301000-NF from Comprod is an Ultra-Wideband In-Building Antenna that operates from 130 to 1000 MHz. It has been designed for mounting on a ceiling or gyprock wall without the need of a ground plane. This in-building antenna is entirely flat and gets integrated into the ceiling (almost invisible). The antenna’s main application includes usage for Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for Public Safety or LTE communication in multiple stories of a building. This Omni-directional antenna delivers unity gain, has a VSWR of less than 2:1, and can handle up to 5 watts of power.

This antenna measures 15.25 (D) x 0.07 (T) inches and is available with an N-type female connector, mounting hardware, and mounting bolts. On request, this antenna can be provided with extra protection to meet the recommended fire safety practices of both the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Federal Rail Administration (FRA) for smoke emission and flammability as tested under ASTM E-662 and ASTM E-162. A layer of Kydex 6200 of 0.3’’ thickness can be added to be meet these criteria.
