The ABC25UKA from Actox is a Ka-Band Block Up Converter (BUC) that up-converts an input frequency from 950 to 1950 MHz to an RF frequency from 27.5 to 31 GHz. The BUC delivers an output power of 25 watts with a gain of over 60 dB. It consumes up to 270 W of power and requires a DC supply voltage from 36 to 60 V.

The ABC25UKA is available in a module that measures 5.5 x 4.8 x 3.3 inches with an N or F-type field-exchangeable IF connector and a WR-28 G waveguide interface at the output. This BUC is designed using GaN technology and has a built-in redundancy option. It is suitable for auto-sensing and has a controllable internal 10 MHz reference making it ideal for any Ka-band application.
