The 8401-8 from Spectrum Control is an 8x8 Butler Matrix that operates from 2 to 6 GHz. It can handle an input power of 5 W (~37 dBm), has an insertion loss of 13 dB, and provides a port-to-port isolation of 16 dB. This butler matrix is designed to transfer the signal reciprocally from any of the eight input ports to any of the eight output ports with an output phase accuracy of ±20° (at 4.2 GHz). It is available in a module that measures 152.4 x 103.7 x 16.7 cm with SMA-female connectors. It is ideal for Wi-Fi, WiMAX, 4G/5G testing, antenna array beamforming, interferometer system simulation and testing, multipath simulation and performance evaluation, and MIMO testing applications.
