The SIM7090G from SIMCom is a Multi-Band CAT-M and NB-IoT Module. It is ideal for low power, low latency and low throughput applications like smart metering, asset tracking, wearable products, remote control, smart homes, smart cities, smart agriculture and other Internet of Things industries.

The SIM7090G is based on the Qualcomm 9205 LTE modem and provides an uplink data rate of up to 1110 Kbps and a downlink data rate of up to 589 Kbps with support for GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, and Galileo. The module has strong extension capabilities with rich interfaces, including UART, GPIO, PCM, SPI, I2C, etc. It provides 21 dBm of output power and requires a supply voltage of 2.7 to 4.8 V. This module can be controlled via AT commands and is available in a 14.8 X 12.8 X 2.0 mm LGA package.
