The Digi XBee 3 from Digi are Cellular LTE-M/NB-IoT modules that offer the flexibility to switch between multiple frequencies and wireless protocols as needed. These modules provide MicroPython programmability with 32 KB Flash / 32 KB RAM for edge computing and dual-mode radio for local configuration over Bluetooth LE using the Digi XBee Mobile app. The modules feature a power-saving mode that extends sleep time & battery life and can be easily configured and controlled from a simple, central platform with the help of Digi Remote Manager.

They transmit power of up to 23 dBm and have a receive sensitivity of -105 dBm for LTE-M and -113 dBm for NB-IoT. Supporting UART, SPI and USB data interfaces, these modules require a DC supply voltage from 3.3 to 4.3 VDC. These FCC and Carrier end-device certified modules have built-in Digi TrustFence security framework and are available with U.FL cellular, or Bluetooth antenna options. They measure 24.38 x 32.94 mm and are ideal for low-data (typically <5 MB per month and where latency is not critical), low-power, low-cost applications.
