The Monarch NB02S is an LTE Cat NB1/NB2 module that supports 3GPP LTE Release 14/15 Cat NB1 and NB2 with up to 120.7 kbps DL and 21 kbps UL. It is based on Sequans’ second-generation Monarch N NB-IoT chip that integrates baseband, RF transceiver, and front-end, SE, application MCU, RAM and power management in a single chip. This module has an EAL5+ Secure Element that enables the integration of the SIM inside the module, thereby introducing Module-as-a-SIM™ capability. The EAL5+ Secure Element (SE) provides highest-level, government-grade security for connection and application. This module supports all SIM types, data plans can be offered as part of a total module solution.

The NB02S module is 5G-ready and designed to enable massive IoT. It supports a single-rail power supply for a wide voltage range from 2.2V to 5.5V. This module is an ideal solution for a wide range of NB-IoT applications, including utility meters, industrial sensors, asset trackers, and numerous other applications for agriculture, smart city, and smart home.
