The MIA-GNSS-1500 from Maxtena is an active GNSS Microstrip Patch Antenna that covers GPS, GLONASS and Beidou frequency bands. This right-hand circular polarized antenna is designed for embedded applications such as GNSS handheld units, mobile devices, and tracking devices. It has an integrated high linearity LNA that provides a gain of 16 dB with a low noise figure. The antenna has a typical axial ratio of 1.5 dB and a VSWR of less than 1.3:1. It requires a DC supply voltage from 2.5 to 3.5 V and consumes up to 7 mA of current.

The MIA-GNSS-1500 is available in a package that measures 15.00 x 16.35 x 6.00 mm with a U.FL connector (other connecter options also available). It can be used for a wide range of applications such as vehicle and fleet tracking, military and security, asset tracking, embedded applications, oil and gas, navigation devices, mining equipment, LBS and M2M, handheld devices and law enforcement.
