The PTA1.5-16 is a miniature printed circuit board (PCB) laminate based passive antenna that operates from 1560 to 1610 MHz. It easily integrates with GNSS/GPS receivers with a single direct connection. The antenna has a gain of -0.54 dB at 1560 MHz, has a low noise figure of 1 dB and requires a supply voltage. The antenna has a dimension of 9.2 x 16 x 0.8 mm (L x W x thickness). It is mounted horizontally with respect to Earth within miniature GNSS receivers via surface mount technology (SMT) reflow using low cost industry standard methods.
