The Teseo-VIC3DA from STMicroelectronics is a Dead-Reckoning GNSS Module that is designed for automotive applications. It has a 6-axis inertial sensor and a Teseo III single die standalone positioning receiver IC that works simultaneously for multiple constellations. This module supports GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDou, and QZSS constellations. It offers superior accuracy with an on-board Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) and reduced Time to First Fix (TTFF) relying on its dedicated Real-Time Clock (RTC) oscillator. It has an embedded flash which enables extra features like 7 days Autonomous Assisted GNSS, Predictive Assisted GNSS, and Real-Time Assisted GNSS. This module requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and consumes 17 μA of current in standby mode.
The Teseo-VIC3DA has a tracking sensitivity of -163 dBm, navigation sensitivity of -158 dBm, and a reacquisition sensitivity of -156 dBm. It has a cold start of less than 36 s, a warm start of 29 s, and a hot start of less than 2.5 s. The module is available in an LCC 24-pin package that measures 16.00 x 12.20 x 2.42 mm and can be controlled via UART, I2C, and GPIO interfaces.
