The Flex4G-1000 from BridgeWave Communications is an E-band (70/80 GHz) microwave backhaul solution that delivers up to 9.7 Gbps capacity per radio link with 256 bit AES encryption for highest data security. The radio has a bandwidth of up to 2000 MHz and modulation of 12 QAM to achieve its highest capacity while maintaining the highest system gain. It also operates at 256 QAM in lower bandwidths to maximize capacity when spectrum is scarce. 

The Flex4G-10000 provides mobile network operators a much lower cost alternative to fiber in macro/cell backhaul and fronthaul for Centralized Radio Access (C-RAN) networks, supporting up to CPRI Mode 7 (9830.4Mbps), while offering ISPs, enterprises, and government agencies a much lower cost alternative to fiber. The radio requires a supply voltage of 48 VDC and consumes up to 73 watts of power. It allows operators to flexibly provision links across multiple network topologies including mixing Ethernet, CPRI, and SONET/SDH traffic. The system can be deployed for use in a wide range of applications like fiber extension/replacement, 3G/4G backhaul, disaster recovery and mobile fronthaul.
