The KU SG 2.45-450 A from KUHNE Electronic is a Microwave Power Generator for the ISM frequency range from 2400 to 2500 MHz. It delivers an adjustable output power of up to 450 W in 1 W  steps and has a frequency step size of 10 kHz or 100 kHz. This power generator produces a CW waveform with a pulse function with a pulse width from 25 to 99990 µs and a pulse period from 26 to 99999 µs or a pulse width from 1 to 24 µs (without ALC) with a pulse period of 6 µs. It requires a DC supply of 32 V and consumes 26 A of current.

The KU SG 2.45-450 A has a frequency-sweep function and an algorithm to find the frequency with minimum reflection. It has an isolator for protection against high VSWR with a monitor function of VSWR (adjustable) and also provides monitoring of transistor temperature. This power generator can be controlled via a 3.3 V UART and analog interfaces. It is available in a milled Aluminium/Copper housing that measures 180 x 65 x 40 mm and is ideal for medical applications, propagation tests of electromagnetic waves, EMC tests, plasma generation, and as a power source for microwave heating applications.
