The ASL1032 from Aelius Semiconductors is a Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 18 to 40 GHz. It uses two stages of amplification to provide a gain of 12.5 dB with a noise figure of less than 3 dB and has a P1dB of 6 dBm. The device can handle up to +20 dBm of input power. It operates on 2V/3V/4V DC supply and consumes 41 mA of current. The LNA is available as a chip that measures 1.95 x 1.85 x 0.1 mm and is suitable for test equipment, sensors, radars, and military applications.
