The CMD167P3is an efficient, ultra low noise GaAs MMIC amplifier that operates from 8 to 16 GHz. At 14 GHz this amplifier has a gain of over 15 dB, an output P1dB of 11 dBm and a noise figure of 1.8 dB. The amplifier requires a single supply voltage of 3 V and is matched to 50 Ohms, thereby eliminating the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching. It is available in a 3x3 mm leadless plastic surface mount package.
