The NW-BA-12B04A from NuWaves Engineering is a bi-directional amplifier that operates from 1 to 2.5 GHz. This L-/S-Band Bidirectional amplifier generates 10 W of output power at the Tx port (5% EVM at 34 dBm). It is ideal for extending the communication range of half duplex L or S-band transceivers with constant-envelope waveforms or near-constant-envelope waveforms. It is available in a module that measures 3 x 2 x 1.16 inches with SMA female connectors.

This amplifier has been developed using gallium nitride (GaN) technology, it offers greater than 30% power efficiency at most frequencies and its compact size makes it ideal for integration into space constrained platforms.
