The NuPower XtenderTM 12B04A-07 from NuWaves is a bi-directional amplifier that operates from 1.5 to 2.5 GHz. This L-Band/S-Band amplifier provides 2.5 watts of linear power (5% EVM at 34 dBm). This compact and light weight bi-directional amplifier is ideal for extending the communication range of half duplex L or S-band transceivers running constant-envelope or near-constant-envelope waveforms.

This amplifier has been developed using gallium nitride (GaN) technology, it offers greater than 30% power efficiency at most frequencies and its compact size makes it ideal for integration into space constrained platforms.
