The NuPowerXtender 12B04A-07-C030 from NuWaves is a bi-directional amplifier that operates from 1625 to 2500 MHz. This L-Band & S-Band amplifier provides 15 watts of output power in transmit mode and the integrated low-noise amplifier provides a gain of 19 dB in receive mode. The amplifier is ideal for extending the communication range of half duplex L or S-band transceivers running constant-envelope or near-constant-envelope waveforms.

It has been developed using gallium nitride (GaN) technology and offers greater than 30% power efficiency at most frequencies. Its compact size makes it ideal for integration into space-constrained platforms.
