The NW-BA-12C04A from NuWaves Engineering is a bi-directional amplifier that operates from 1 to 2.5 GHz covering the L & S Bands. It provides 15 watts of output power at the Tx port (5% EVM at 34 dBm) and a gain of 13 dB at the Rx port. This compact and light weight bi-directional amplifier is ideal for extending the communication range of half duplex L or S-band transceivers with constant-envelope waveforms or near-constant-envelope waveforms. It is available in a module that measures 3 x 2 x 1.16 inches with SMA female connectors.

This amplifier has been developed using gallium nitride (GaN) technology, it offers greater than 30% power efficiency at most frequencies and its compact size makes it ideal for integration into space constrained platforms.
