The GPS-PT1233D from Parsec Technologies is a low noise amplifier that has been designed for GPS applications from 1500 to 1600 MHz. It provides a gain of 15 dB, an IP3 of 16.5 dBm and has a noise figure of 1.5 dB. This GaAs based amplifier has an active bias-enable pin that provides external feedback for maximum design flexibility. The PT1233D GPS LNA is ideally suited for battery or low power GPS applications that need high IP3 and high gain for increased range and maximum distance. It requires a supply voltage of 1.8 V and draws a current of 5 ma. The amplifier is matched to 50 Ohms is available in a compact 06-ETSLP package which measures 1.3 x 2.0 mm.
