The WE327 from the RFHIC is a Low Noise MMIC Gain Block / Driver Amplifier that operates from 0.5 to 7.2 GHz. It provides 19 dB of gain with a noise figure of 1.8 dB and a P1dB of 22 dBm. This amplifier is based on a GaAs Enhancement Mode pHEMT process that exhibits low current consumption and has a high IP3. It requires a DC supply of 5 V and draws 120 mA of current. This amplifier is available in a surface-mount DFN package that measures 2 x 2 mm and is ideal as a driver for infrastructure equipment in Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) wireless systems, LTE/5G, satellite, wireless systems, and general-purpose amplifiers.
