The TA1029 from Triad RF Systems is a class AB GaN power amplifier that operates from 6.4 to 7.1 GHz. It provides saturated power (Psat) of 44 dBm, a gain of 58 dB with a flatness of 2 dB. This amplifier requires a 28 V power supply and draws 2.3 A of current. It is capable of supporting any signal type and modulation format, including but not limited to 3/4G telecom, WLAN, OFDM, DVB, and CW/AM/FM. The amplifier is available in a module that measures 6 x 2.5 x 1.06 inches with SMA female connectors and is ideal for both military and commercial applications.
