The TA1120 from Triad RF Systems is a Circuit Card Power Amplifier that operates from 380 to 470 MHz. It has been designed for integration into CubeSat and NanoSat satellite systems and is also compatible with most UHF transmitters. The amplifier provides a saturated output power of 36 dBm with a gain of 28 dB and has a switching speed of under 2 us. It uses the latest device technologies and design methods to offer high power density, efficiency, and linearity in a small, lightweight package.

The TA1120 supports 3-4G telecom, WLAN, OFDM, DVB, and CW/AM/FM signal type and modulation formats. It is available in a module that measures 2.7 x 1.3 x 0.3 inches with MMCX edge input/output connectors and is suitable for both military and commercial applications. The amplifier requires 9 to 14 volts of power supply and is versatile enough to operate on a range of available voltage buses typically found on a CubeSat chassis.
