The TA2001 from Triad RF Systems is an LDMOS Amplifier that operates from 960 to 1225 MHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 200 W (53 dBm) with a gain of 55 dB and has an ON/OFF switching time of less than 5 µs. This class AB amplifier is capable of supporting any signal type and modulation format, that includes 3G/4G telecom, WLAN, OFDM, DVB, and CW/AM/FM among others. It utilizes the latest device technologies and design methods to offer high power density, efficiency, and linearity in a small, lightweight package. The amplifier is designed for both commercial and military applications.

The TA2001 includes features such as DC current monitor output, temperature monitor output, and over-temperature protection. It requires a DC supply of 28 V and consumes less than 18 A of current. The amplifier is available in a module that measures 8.20 x 3.60 x 1.18 inches with SMA-female/N-type (female) connectors.
