The BAL-0009SMG from Marki Microwave is a Broadband RF Balun that operates from 500 kHz to 9 GHz. This balun has an impedance ratio of 1:2 (balanced to the unbalanced transformer) and transforms a 50-ohm input to a 100-ohm differential output. It can handle an input power of up to 1 W, provides a phase shift of 180°, and has a rise/fall time of 16 ps. This balun provides a common mode rejection of 26 dB, an isolation of 8 dB, and an insertion loss of less than 6.5 dB. It has an amplitude balance of ±1.6 dB and a phase balance of ±12°. This RoHS-compliant balun is available in a surface-mount package and is ideal for analog-to-digital converters, balanced receivers, baseband digital modulations, and signal integrity applications.
