The MLAT-1000B from Micro Lambda Wireless is a Programmable Attenuator that operates from 0.01 to 21 GHz. It provides an attenuation of up to 63 dB in 0.5 dB steps and has a switching time of 20 us. The attenuator has an insertion loss of less than 7 dB and a VSWR of below 2.1:1. It requires a DC supply voltage of 4-6 V, consumes 50 mA of current and has 2.7/3.3/5.0 V digital control logic. The attenuator can be controlled via USB or SPI. It is available in a compact package that measures 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.5 inches with SMA-female connectors and is suitable for use in test equipment applications.
