The TDFM001000 from Teledyne e2v HiRel Electronics is Frequency Doubler that up-converts an input frequency from 7.5 - 25 GHz to an output frequency from 15 - 50 GHz. This single-ended GaAs frequency multiplier does not require an external balun and can amplify the input signal to an output power level of up to 18 dBm. It requires a DC supply voltage of 6 V and draws up to 300 mA of current. This doubler is fabricated using a GaAs PHEMT technology which utilizes an electron beam lithography to ensure high repeatability and uniformity. It is available as a die and is ideal for millimeter-wave point-to-point radio, LMDS, Satcom, and VSAT applications.
