The BL5340 Series from Laird Connectivity are multi-core Bluetooth 5.2 + 802.15.4 (Thread and Zigbee) + NFC Modules. These small, robust modules are available in two variants: main module (BL5340 with nRF5340) or power amplified variant (BL5340PA with nRF5340 + nRF21540). The modules feature dual core Arm® Cortex M33 microcontrollers which can run a low power core focused purely on wireless connectivity, with a second higher performance core targeted for end applications. They include ARM CryptoCell-312 including trusted execution, root-of-trust, and secure key storage security features. The modules are available with integrated pre-certified PCB or trace pad antenna options.

The modules feature Bluetooth 5.2 including Isochronous Channels and LE Audio which adds support for next generation Bluetooth audio for stereo streaming and broadcast audio. These modules are suitable for use in applications such as smart building, asset tracking, secure medical peripherals, and industrial automation.

The BL5340 modules operate over a supply from 1.7 to 5.5 V and transmit up to +10 dBm of power. They can operate over a temperature range from -40 to 105°C.
