The OZ52x Series from Optical Zonu are RF-over-Fiber Links that operate from 30 MHz to 3 GHz. They consist of individual linear (analog) transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) modules to create an analog over fiber one-way unidirectional link. They support RF transport in situations where transport distance or flexibility of cabling may prohibit the use of coaxial cables. These modules feature a linear optically isolated DFB laser diode operating at 1310 nm or 1550 nm or a high-performance InGaAs photodiode (CWDM range optional). They require a DC supply of 12 V and include Average Automatic Power Control (AAPC) for optimal optical power stability over the full temperature range.

The RF gain of the transmitter and receiver can be adjusted remotely. They are available in compact RF plug-in package SMA RF connector (optional 75-ohm SMB) and SC/APC (FC/APC is also available) optical interfaces. These modules are ideal for IF Satcom Band, L Band, S Band, C Band, GPS, PCS Cellular, Wi-Max, 4G LTE, VHF, UHF, QAM, Timing, and Frequency signal distribution over fiber applications.
