The PWR-40PW-RC from Mini-Circuits is a Smart Power Sensor that operates from 0.5 to 40 GHz. This Power Sensor has a dynamic range from -20 to +20 dBm and has a sampling rate of 20 Msps. It has a duty cycle of up to 99.9 and a rise/fall time of 50 ns. The sensor supports modulated, pulsed, and CW signal types and has a 10 MHz internal modulation bandwidth coupled with a data processing rate of 20 million samples per second that enables measurement of a wide range of analog and digital signal modulation types. It integrates an additional 30 MHz band for video signals to conduct measurements or use automatic level control circuits.

This PWR-40PW-RC can be controlled using software that allows measurements of various parameters such as peak and average power and also supports statistical analysis (crest factor, duty cycle, rise/fall time), and time-domain plots for any signal type, including pulsed waveforms. It uses either a USB or Ethernet interface to control directly from a PC or remotely and monitor over a network. This RoHS-compliant sensor is available in a module that measures 4.97 x 2.50 inches with 2.92 mm male RF connectors and USB, Ethernet & RJ45 socket control interface. It is ideal for use in 5G NR device testing, ASK, FSK, OFDM, QAM, and LTE modulations, K/Ka-band radar, signal level calibration, and remote power monitoring applications.
