Wireless InSite® is a suite of ray-tracing models and high-fidelity EM solvers for the analysis of site-specific radio wave propagation and wireless communication systems. The RF propagation software provides efficient and accurate predictions of EM propagation and communication channel characteristics in complex urban, indoor, rural and mixed path environments. Wireless InSite's unique ray-tracing capabilities determine multipath propagation through a 3D environment, including diffuse scattering at millimeter waves.  The Communication Systems Analyzer predicts a 5G device’s operation in the intended scenario, modeling MIMO techniques such as antenna diversity, spatial multiplexing, and beamforming.  Metrics including throughput and capacity, BER, noise, interference, and SINR make Wireless InSite a powerful tool for determining whether a device will meet 5G performance requirements in a realistic operating environment.
