The RFMR29-SFEM-200-400A from RFHIC is a GaN Transmitter/Receiver (T/R) Module that operates from 2.7 to 3.1 GHz. This S-band transceiver provides an output power of 200 W with a Tx gain of 59 dB. The device is designed using GaN on SiC HEMT technology, resulting in a higher breakdown voltage, wider bandwidth, and higher efficiency (37%). It has a duty cycle of 10% and a pulse width of 100 µs. On the Rx side, it provides a gain of 28 dB with a noise figure of 3 dB.

The module is equipped with a circulator that provides duplex functions and a limiter diode to protect the receiver. Both the RF ports of this transceiver have integrated DC blocking capacitors and are fully matched to 50 Ohms. This Lead-free and RoHS-compliant device is available in a module that measures 165 x 56 x 18 mm with SMA (F) connectors and is ideal for S-band radar applications.
