The ALN-9940 from Alien Technology is an RFID dry/wet inlay that has been designed for enterprise-wide asset management, volume retail/apparel, warehouse management, and general-purpose asset tagging applications. This UFH band (860 - 960 MHz) RFID Inlay is based on the Higgs™-9 UHF RFID IC “Squiggle” antenna design. An enhanced memory footprint includes a 48-bit Unique TID for authentication and serialization applications and password protected read and write support to prevent unauthorized viewing and modification of the tag’s data. It features BlastWrite™ and QuickWrite™ mass-encoding and dynamic authentication™ - anti-cloning/ anti-counterfeit technology.

The ALN-9940 inlay is Global GS1 Class 1 Gen 2 (V1.2.0) and ISO/IEC 18000-6C compliant, enabling consistent operation across the diverse set of frequencies used in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa. It is available in high-yield, high capacity dry/wet inlay rolls.
