The Mercury Metal Skin from Xerafy is an RFID Smart Label that operates from 902 to 928 MHz (865 to 868 MHz global). The tag is based on the Impinj Monza 4E IC and works on both metallic and non-metallic assets. It has an EPC memory of 496 bits, a user memory of 128 bits, and a TID serialized memory of 48 bits. The label can incorporate human readable printing, barcodes, and graphics, and is extremely low profile and flexible to fit curved surfaces such as the contour of metallic cylinders and drums.

The device has a read range of up to 16 ft. (on metal) and up to 13 ft. (off metal). This tag measures 4 x 1.5 x 0.04 inches and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The tag is ideal for product authentication, IT assets and laptop tracking, global supply chain management, cylinder tracking, and foil-based packaging tracking applications. This device can also be ordered in Roll (X50A0-GL100-M4). It is CE, ATEX/IECEx, and EU Directive 2011/65/EU compliant.
