The Puma 120Ka from Comtech Xicom Technology is a Ka-band SSPA with an optional single or dual-band internal BUC. It upconverts an IF frequency from 1250 to 3750 MHz to an RF frequency from 27.5 to 30 GHz. This GaNSSPA/BUC provides a linear output power of over 60 watts with a small signal gain of 70 dB. The device is available in a compact 7.8 x 14 x 19inch package with RS-422/RS-485 and serial RS-232 Ethernet interfaces for control, and is ideal for Satcom uplink applications.
