SATCOM Transceiver by Arralis

Note : Your request will be directed to Arralis.

The LE-KaCM-TRX100 from Arralis is a Ka-Band Transceiver with a Tx frequency from 17 to 21 GHz and Rx frequency from 27 to 31 GHz. On the Tx side, this transceiver upconverts an IF signal from 1.4 to 2.5 GHz to an RF Signal from 17-21 GHz. It provides up to 20 W of CW output power with a small signal gain of 55 dB (11 dB programmable gain adjustment). On the Rx side, it downconverts an input RF Signal from 27-31 GHz to 0.9-3.6 GHz while providing a gain of 42 dB and a noise figure of less than 3 dB.

The module is a complete RF satellite system that allows spacecraft designers a fast, reliable, and cost-effective way of implementing high data- rate Ka-Band payloads. Additional channels can be added in both the Transmit and Receive paths to accommodate specific customer requirements.

This K/Ka-band transceiver module enables a direct interface with a Modem or Software Defined Radio (SDR) enabling full-function Ka-band satellite systems. The RF outputs and inputs are standard waveguide flanges for high reliability and low loss antenna connections. In order to maximize data rates, the transmitter has an output monitoring function that enables precise amplitude stability when coupled with external pre-distortion or gain control systems.
