The SG6000X from DS Instruments is a Dual-Channel RF Signal Generator that operates from 25 MHz to 6 GHz. It enables users to generate two separate high-quality RF signals with adjustable output powers (independent step & variable control options). This fully synthesized fractional-N synthesis generator has a phase noise of -74 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset. It is powered through a standard USB-C port and requires a DC supply of 5 V while consuming 1.25 A of current.

The SG6000X has a front-mounted OLED display with user control buttons for frequency and power levels. It has a simple Windows-based GUI and supports standalone and USB remote operation. The generator is available in a compact portable enclosure that measures 2.75 x 1.25 x 3.15 inches and has SMA connectors. It is ideal for use in automated testing environments, general RF lab use, flexible LO sourcing, antenna design, EMC testing, production verification & testing, educational/university lab use, aerospace/defence research, and LTE engineering applications.
