The PE42020 is a True DC SPDT switch from Peregrine that operates from 0 Hz to 8 GHz. This true DC switch is poised to replace problematic mechanical relays and MEMS switches in the test and measurement market. It can handle up to 30 dBm of power at 0 Hz and 36 dBm of power at 8 GHz. The switch has high linearity with an IP3 of 63 dBm. It has a switching time 10 microsecond and a 15 microsecond settling time making it ideal for test and measurement applications. It supports standard +1.8 V and +3.3 V control logic and operates over a temperature range of -40 to +85 degree centigrade. Moreover, for the first time, it can also switch DC to AC peak voltages in the range of +10 V to -10 V at currents of up to 80 mA. The PE42020 switch is available in a 20-lead 4x4 mm QFN plastic package.
