The PE42128x is an UltraCMOS® Dual SP7T Switch that has been developed specifically for the 4G Front End Module Market for use in GSM/EDGE/ WCDMA/LTE handsets to solve challenges of carrier aggregation. The switch incorporates fourteen transmit ports that give designers the flexibility to freely configure any combination of ports for any mode and any band through the bi-directional 2-wire serial bus control interface. The switch delivers high linearity with an IIP3 of +75 dBm, as well as extremely low insertion loss (0.35dB @ 900MHz and 0.45 at 1900 MHz) and high isolation (38 dB at 698-2170 MHz and 33 dB at 2500-2690 MHz). It also features industry leading 2fo and 3fo for LTE of less than -80 dBm at 700 MHz. High linearity and isolation performance are critical in LTE-Advanced Smartphones to ensure that radio signals don’t spill into other bands during multi-band operation. The part has RoHS compliant, chip-scale packaging for SMD placement and smallest module footprint.
