The VIAVI CellAdvisor JD786B Base Station Analyzer combines the functionality of a spectrum analyzer, cable and antenna analyzer, and power meter into a single device. The spectrum analyzer operates up to 8 GHz, cable and antenna analyzer up to 6 GHz and the power meter up to 8 GHz. The base station analyzer offers dual-port capability, cable and antenna analysis / spectrum analysis / interference analysis / signal analysis / demodulation and RF / optical power meters and optional fiber inspection in a rugged, portable, cloud-enabled instrument. 

The JD786B measures RF performance such as channel power, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, return loss, tower mounted amplifier&rsquos gain and distance to fault location. In addition, the CellAdvisor RF Analyzer provides an Interference Analysis function which presents a spectrogram and RSSI showing RF activity of up to six signals through time, detailing differences in frequency and spectral power. It is the ideal test tool for installation and maintenance of cell sites, supporting RFoCPRI and narrowband IoT testing, spectrum and interference analysis. This Base Station Analyzer has a rugged design ideal for working in harsh cell site environments. The backlit key panel makes maintenance tasks possible in dark spaces.
