The SAX271-F1 from NewEdge Signal Solutions is a Tunable Bandpass Filter with a passband from 30 to 90 MHz. It can handle a CW input power of 5 W and a peak input power of up to 10 W. This filter has an insertion loss of less than 5.2 dB in the passband and provides a rejection from 20 dB above and below the passband. It takes less than 50 µs to switch from one frequency to the next (tuning time) and has a tuning step size of 0.5 MHz. This filter requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 25 mA of current. It allows the user to control and perform functions such as chip selection and clock synchronization through the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The filter is available in a surface-mount package that measures 1.30 x 0.75 x 0.25 inches and is ideal for use in military radios and radars, SATCOM equipment, and test & measurement applications.
